What is covered during the first year: Should you discover a defect in material or workmanship resulting in abnormal computer and/or component operation during the first year after the date of original purchase, Rackmount Computers will repair the unit free of labor and parts charges. Replaced parts become the property of Rackmount Computers.
How to obtain service: To obtain warranty service for your computer and/or component(s) during the warranty period you should return the unit in its original container, packaging, and all documentation, along with your sales receipt to Rackmount Computers. Please call first to obtain Return Authorization Number (RMA). Rackmount Computers will attempt to give you the fastest repair time possible.
 

This warranty does not cover damage or malfunction from improper handling, misuse, abuse, failure of electrical power, improper electrical current, damage while in transit for repairs, repairs attempted by any unauthorized person or agency, or any other reason not due to defects in materials or workmanship. Rackmount Computers is not responsible for warranty service should any parts be substituted in the computer

Any implied warranties arising out of the sale of the unit including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the express warranty set fourth above. Rackmount Computer's liability is limited solely to the repair or replacement of the defective unit in its sole discretion, and in no event shall include damages for loss of use or other incidental or consequential costs, expenses, or damages incurred by the purchaser, including without limitation any data or information which may be lost or rendered inaccurate.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or exclusion or limitation or incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation and exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.
