Description

The RMTFT12-K integrates a TFT display, a keyboard, and a touch pad mouse for use in areas where space is a concern. The display is a 12.1" TFT active matrix LCD which has an equivalent viewing area of a 14" CRT monitor, and does not require special proprietary LCD peripheral cards or drivers. It connects directly to a standard VGA connector and automatically switches to the corresponding VGA mode. The integrated keyboard is a reduced width IBM compatible keyboard with 101 keys with a separate cursor pad. The integrated mouse is a GlidePoint® touch pad mouse with a large 2.1" x 3" surface where all mouse functions are performed on the pad surface. These functions include right and left mouse clicks by simply tapping the pad surface, separate horizontal and vertical scrolling, and one touch zoom features for many '97 applications. The RMTFT12-K withdraws from the rack on slides which latch in the extended position, the front panel folds down to allow access to the keyboard and mouse, and the display folds up for use. When not in use, the display can be folded down which automatically shuts the power off, and the unit drawn back into the rack and secured with pawl latches.
